Pity in business

Lately I became very immune to the pity party of motivational speakers.
Yes I am cruel but here is my reasoning.
Business is about service or product delivery. Business is about numbers. 
I believe that each business should be judged on the basis of the value for money it provides. 
Just because there is some "sobby" story behind a business it does not give the business more credibility or privileged of being the product or service ONLY supplier.
Yes I am cruel, but here it is. It is high time for any business to be judged by its merits, not by the so called circumstances. Be wise, support your local business, you want to be charitable ? Then support a charity in your neighborhood.
